What a blessed and festive divine service we experienced today with Apostle Gerome Mintoor!
The choir, orchestra and childrenโs choir created a beautiful atmosphere of praise and worship as the congregation gathered for a special encounter with the Word of God. Based on Mark 6:50โ51, the message reminded us that when the winds of life become strong and we face difficult seasons, the Lord is still with us: โBe of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.โ
A deeply moving moment was the sealing of 36 souls with the Holy Spirit. We give thanks to God for His grace and rejoice with these souls as they receive this precious gift and begin a new chapter in their journey of faith. May the Holy Spirit guide, strengthen and preserve them. ๐๐๏ธ
The day was also bittersweet as we received the news that our beloved Priest Kurt Koening will be leaving our congregation to take up his appointment as rector of Greenbushes congregation.
While we will miss his presence among us, we are grateful for his faithful service, love and care for the congregation. We wish Priest Koening and his family Godโs richest blessing as they begin this new chapter. May the Lord go before you, strengthen you and remain close to you in every step of the way. โค๏ธ
A truly memorable day, filled with music, fellowship, grace and the assurance that Christ is with us, even when the winds are strong.
