We receive salvation in Christ visibly by receiving the sacraments.

The divine service concluded on a beautiful and comforting note as the choir sang“In God is our Trust”. Following the service, the congregation then gathered for a warm time of fellowship.

On Sunday, 23 August 2026, the ministers and their spouses enjoyed a special coffee date gathering before the divine service.

A Morning of Fellowship and Faith

On Sunday, 16 August 2026, the confirmands, together with their parents and ministers shared a special coffee date filled with fellowship, meaningful conversations and encouragement before the divine service. It was a beautiful opportunity to strengthen relationships and support the confirmands on their journey of faith.

Following the divine service, the Sunday school teachers of Salberau Congregation conducted the Sunday school lessons, sharing God’s Word with love and dedication.

A blessed day of fellowship, learning and growing together in faith.

Young People Soul Care Visit

On Thursday, 30 July 2026, our Young People gathered for a special soul care visit led by our Rector Trevor Claassen.

Centred on the Bible text 1 Peter 5:10(NKJV), "But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you." The Young People were encouraged to discover and use their unique God-given talents with humility, trusting that the Holy Spirit will guide and sustain them through every challenge. They were reminded to remain steadfast in their vow, renounce evil, and reflect Christ's love by serving and caring for others.

The evening provided a meaningful opportunity for spiritual encouragement, reflection, and renewed strength in faith.

On Sunday, 26 July 2026, our Young People enjoyed a meaningful coffee date together with our ministers, strengthening the bonds of fellowship, faith and unity.

As part of the Dare2Care build-up, they had the privilege of conducting the Sunday School lesson after the divine service. This opportunity allowed them to grow in faith and service while reflecting this year's message: "Don't be afraid, just believe."

The morning was a blessing to all in attendance, inspiring the Young People to continue serving Christ with willing hearts and reminding the congregation that God's work is strengthened as faith is shared from one generation to the next.

DARE2CARE 2026 Outreach – "Still Believing"

On Saturday, 25 July 2026, Leonsdale Congregation hosted a special DARE2CARE Outreach, bringing together Young People, Seniors and Ministers for a morning of faith, fellowship and encouragement. The gathering commenced with an opening prayer and welcome by our Rector Trevor Claassen, followed by words of encouragement from Retired Community Evangelist Rubin Bester.

The Young People leader introduced this year's message: "We are still believing, and we are believing together." Held under the theme, "Remaining faithful: Learning from the Journey of our senior members as New Apostolic Christians,". The programme featured inspiring experiences of Faith shared by Retired Priest Kenneth Sylvester, Sister Marlene Lemoela, and Young Person brother Octavio Lombard. Priest Daniel Wence and the District Young People leader brother Diego Adams encouraged everyone to remain steadfast in faith.

The Young People leader concluded with words of thanks to the senior members, Young People, ministers, and those who were present. The outreach concluded with a closing prayer done by a senior member and a young person, leaving all in attendance uplifted and strengthened in the assurance that we are still believing—together.
