Verse: 7 The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose a mother in Israel...Explanation: untill the Lord at this time raised up Deborah, Israel was leaderless.
Verse: 8 ...They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?... Explanatio: Israel was guilty of idolatry, which had reduced the people to being defenseless; the only defense against Satan is the Cross of Christ; anything else leaves the Believer defenseless. Explanation: according to Josephus a great storm arose in the face of the Canaanites, which led to their utter defeat...whatever the phrase means, the Lord used the elements against the enemies of Israel. Verse21: The river of Kishon swept them away......Explanation: this river is normally a very narrow stream; however, the storm evidently caused the river to flood, which played havoc with the chariots, etc.
If we Trust God and repent our sins and turn back to God He can do the same for us. Lets pray and start to get dan with sin. Start to live a holy life and fear God. For our God is a consuming fire. The fire of God will consume everything that is not Faith in Christ and the Cross. We still serve the same God of Abram,Izak and Jacob. We can Trust Him. STAY IN FAITH.

James 2:17 read this scripture Notes Faith will produce proper works. If not, the Holy Spirit says here that it is "dead faith" Also read verse 19 Notes Simply believing there is a God says no more than what demons beleave. PROPER Faith will accept the Lord as one's Saviour

EXPLANATION: Does not infer that Christ as God had a beginning, because as God He had no beginning, but rather refers to the time of Creation ( Gen. 1: 1) WAS THE WORD.. the Holy Spirit through John describes Jesus as " the Eternal Logos"), AND THE WORD WAS WITH GOD ...was in relationship with God, "and expresses the idea of the Trinity. AND THE WORD WAS GOD....Meaning that He did not cease to be God during the Incarnation; He "was" and "is" God from eternity past to eternity future

EXPLANATION: Presents Jesus, the Eternal Logos, as the first cause. AND THE LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MEN...He Alone is the Life Source of Light; if one doesn't know Christ, one is in darkness
