The Gospel Truth ⛪ Evangelical ministry reaching out to the ends of the world with the good news of the kingdom of God

05/04/2026

Our faithful, loving and all knowing God sent His son to the earth knowing beforehand and very well that He would be rejected by the world and be made to suffer the most gruesome death imaginable at the time. However, since God always knows the ending from the beginning, He knew that His Son, Jesus, would be raised again back to life by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In His death, though it may have looked as a defeat when it happened, turned out to be an eternal and a grave mistake that the enemies of our souls may have made. In that death, Jesus Christ defeated death, hell and the grave and, made a public spectacle of all the rulers, powers and principalities of the kingdom of darkness.

The most interesting and the most inspiring thing, throughout that episode of death, burial and the resurrection of our Lord, is that the same Holy Spirit who raised Him (Jesus Christ) from the dead, is the same Holy Spirit who lives in us and works in us from day to day unendingly.

Let us therefore boldly approach the throne of grace and enter into the heavenly sanctuary, loudly proclaiming, declaring and shout that Jesus is not dead nor is He in the grave but HE IS ALIVE, for He rose on the third day!

As we celebrate Passover, be reminded that whilst destruction comes upon our enemies and our adversaries, the blood of Jesus [that covers and protects us] shall shield us and no destruction will come upon us and our loved ones.

Whilst we see the destruction to our enemies with our own eyes, none of it shall come upon us as long as we remain under the covering of the blood of Jesus...

Exodus 12:13 NKJV
[13] Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.

Daniel 6:2-4 CEV
[2] In order to make sure that his government was run properly, Darius put three other officials in charge of the governors. One of these officials was Daniel. [3] And he did his work so much better than the other governors and officials that the king decided to let him govern the whole kingdom. [4] The other men tried to find something wrong with the way Daniel did his work for the king. But they could not accuse him of anything wrong, because he was honest and faithful and did everything he was supposed to do.

In order to make sure that his government was run properly, Darius put three other officials in charge of the governors. One of these officials was Daniel. And he did his work so much better than the

Daniel 2:20-22 NKJV
[20] Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His. [21] And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise And knowledge to those who have understanding. [22] He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.

Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, For wisdom and might are His. And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to

John 13:34-35 NKJV
[34] A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. [35] By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Hebrews 10:19-25 NKJV
[19] Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, [20] by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, [21] and having a High Priest over the house of God, [22] let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. [23] Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. [24] And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, [25] not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest ove

A good leader is the one who's able to replicate him/ herself and raise up many more leaders, some of whom would even go on to reach higher heights than he/ she was able to reach. When the Lord Jesus prepared his close disciplines, also known as the apostles, He told them that they would do even greater miracles than what He had done.

If the Master and Creator of everything, Himself, could pronounce such words to his disciples, who are we to hold back and not impart all that we know and empower those that we are building up, to do even greater things and reach higher heights than what we may have been able to, in our lifetimes?

As the great commission stated, we are to "make disciples of all nations and to teach them everything that Jesus has taught us [through those who were set over us as our leaders and mentors and through the revelations and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit].

As we spread and share the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ [that is, the gospel of the kingdom of God] we are meant to make the message taught as simple [whilst remaining authentic and direct] as possible, so as to make even a child to understand it.

The mistake that some preachers and teachers of the gospel make is to complicate the message by trying to be extravagant and to show off how much they know [of the Greek and/ or the Hebrew] of the gospel message. This is in contrast to the message that was preached by the early believers which focused on "teaching people to repent from their wicked and destructive ways and to turn to the free salvation that was made available through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ." [We are not called to show off how learned or how much we know about the gospel, but we are called to preach a simple message that will cut people in their hearts and make them realise that they need Jesus Christ as the Lord and Saviour in their lives.]

The early preachers like John the baptist and others simply preached the message of repentance saying, "repent and be baptised for the kingdom of God is at hand." We learn that through such simple but direct messages, people received the message, were cut in their hearts and, they chose repentance and were baptised into the newness of life.

Let us therefore get back to the basics of the message of the gospel, which is about teaching and imploring people to repent and to turn back to God because after all, "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God."

Also, as the word declares that, "if you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, you shall be saved", we need to keep teaching that simplicity of the Gospel message and then we shall see scores of people embracing the message of the gospel and making informed decisions to accept it.

Having some the basics and we witness people accept the message of the gospel [through the easily comprehensible messages taught to them], we must then understand and realise that we have given them only the foundation for their life of faith. We thereafter have to ensure that they are well discipled or referred to the churches where they can be well discipled so that their growth is assured and not aborted along the way.

Simple messages and simple teachings will always make for easy understanding and embracing of the gospel message, thus ensuring that we reach as many people as possible as commanded by the Lord Himself to "go to all the corners of the world and make disciples of every nation!"

Acts 3:19-21 NKJV
[19] Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, [20] and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, [21] whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you bef

Matthew 28:16-20 NKJV
[16] Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. [17] When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. [18] And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. [19] Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,
