Isaiah 35:3-8 NKJV
[3] Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. [4] Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” [5] Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. [6] Then the lame shall leap like a deer, And the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, And streams in the desert. [7] The parched ground shall become a pool, And the thirsty land springs of water; In the habitation of jackals, where each lay, There shall be grass with reeds and rushes. [8] A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray.

Encouraging and challenging you to seek intimacy with God every day.

Isaiah 26:3-4 AMP
[3] “You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], Because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. [4] “Trust [confidently] in the Lord forever [He is your fortress, your shield, your banner], For the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].

Psalms 103:11-14 NKJV
[11] For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; [12] As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. [13] As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him. [14] For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities

Isaiah 1:18-20 NKJV
[18] “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool. [19] If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; [20] But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword”; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

How many realise that we, as believers and members of the household of faith, we are likened to a soldier that has been enlisted to an army for a battle.

Some characteristics of a soldier that has been enlisted in an army is that of selflessness and unquestionable dedication to the course of the army. Full obedience and carrying out of all the commands and instructions that have been given are the other non negotiables otherwise that army may be subjected to mutiny.

As the soldiers the Lord we are also expected to carry ourselves with selflessness, have undivided dedication to our calling and to fully obey and carry out all the commands that our Lord, and Chief Commander, has commanded us with.

We are commanded to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, all our minds and all our souls and then, to love our neighbours as we love ourselves. We are further commanded to go to all the world and to make disciples of all nations teaching them to observe everything that we have been taught.

Shouldn't then it be our greatest joy and privilege that God saw it fit that He can trust us with such an honour and such a great mission! Remember that God could have used anything else or He could even have sent His angels, but He saw us as much more worthy of the call.

Believer! Christian! Let us keep marching on and remain fully committed to our course as good, trustworthy and faithful soldiers that we are called to be!

Romans 12:17-21 NKJV
[17] Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. [18] If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. [19] Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. [20] Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.” [21] Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rathe

It is a far better and a most noble way to live one's life cultivating and making room for the presence of God in his or her life.

Some people expend themselves and their entire lives chasing after riches and material wealth which unfortunately they'd leave behind when they depart from this life. After having accumulated the riches and material wealth they have toiled so hard to accumulate, the sad thing is that some don't even live to enjoy it the way they thought they would. Some start living in fear and are always suspicious that someone out there is after their hard gained riches and wealth, whilst others are not fully fulfilled because in all their gains they didn't make room or provision for the presence of God in their lives.

We ought to always remember that a life without God, whether you are rich or you are poor, is an empty life. No amount of accumulation of material wealth, or riches, will ever fully satisfy nor fill the void in one's life that can only be filled by the presence of God and living a life that is submitted to and is led by God, through faith in Him.

To the one that hasn't fallen into the trap, of chasing after riches but neglecting to seek the presence of God in your life, you are encouraged to have your priorities aright. Whenever you firstly make room for and chase after the presence of God in your life, He knows how to shower you with such blessings that you can hardly contain and/ or will hardly have room enough to contain [Matthew 6:33]. When He showers you with such blessings, the sure thing is that you will live to enjoy them every single one of your days, because the word declares that, "the blessing of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow with it" [Proverbs 10:22].

To the one that may already have fallen into and finds himself or herself already trapped into this trap, of chasing after riches and material wealth but neglecting to seek the presence of God in your lives, it is not too late for you as well. You can simply turn around, ask and seek God's forgiveness for having mixed up your priorities and commit to make room for His presence in your life, from this moment on. The sure thing is that God as a loving and a forgiving God, He'll never turn you away nor reject you but will welcome you and embrace you, covering you with His love [1 John 1:9].

Remember to put first things first in your life and you will live to enjoy a God blessed and satisfied life.

Let the church of Christ arise take up its place and pray, and then righteousness shall prevail. The word if God declares that, "righteousness exalts a nation...."

II Chronicles 7:14-16 NKJV
[14] if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. [15] Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place. [16] For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.

People that do not have full apprehension of our faith, make a mistake and a gravest of errors of thinking that we gather to worship our God on Sundays because we "worship the the sun god or the sun goddess."

That is not what we are about at all, but we worship the Son God and not the sun god. Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God and Him alone we worship as the Son of God and we do not worship the SUN!

We also gather on Sundays to worship God because on that day, being the first day of the week, the Son of God rose from the dead having defeated death, hell and the grave. We worship what we know, the risen Savior, our Redeemer and the Son of God! We do not aimlessly worship any unknown god that may exist somewhere out there.

So, believer and disciple of Jesus Christ... keep the faith, stand your ground and keep worshipping God.
