A woman identified as Aletta Rose appeared again at the Bellville Court where she is facing charges for allegedly killing and decapitating her sister in March this year.

It is also alleged that back in 1997, she killed her brother and was later released on parole. During her latest court appearance, she reportedly insulted people inside the courtroom, including the magistrate, and allegedly threatened to kill everyone present.

Following her behaviour in court, the magistrate ordered that she undergo a mental evaluation.

Tragedy struck at Moutsiya Mall in Siyabuswa after a cash-in-transit robbery ended with the deaths of two Fidelity security guards.

According to reports, heavily armed suspects attacked while the guards were protecting a cash vehicle. Two innocent bystanders were also injured after stray bullets hit them during the shooting.

One security guard was reportedly shot and killed while trying to take cover near a clinic store, while another was gunned down near a Pep store.

🚨 GMD MEDIA ORG NEWS UPDATE 🚨

Alleged political fixer Brown Mogotsi remains behind bars as shocking claims emerged during his bail hearing in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.

State prosecutors told the court that eyewitnesses allegedly saw Mogotsi stop his vehicle, get out, and fire shots at his own car before later claiming he survived an assassination attempt. Prosecutors also said CCTV footage allegedly supports the witnesses’ version of events.

Mogotsi is facing several charges, including unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, defeating the ends of justice, perjury, and discharging a firearm in a public place. The case is linked to an alleged staged shooting incident that happened in Vosloorus in November 2025.

The State also accused Mogotsi of allegedly trying to bribe an investigating officer and providing false address details during the bail process. His legal team denied the allegations and argued that he is not a flight risk.

The court has postponed judgment on his bail application until next week Thursday, and Mogotsi will remain in custody until then.
