Today the project of painting the church roof at KwaPheshe ( St. Francis Xavier ), within Sandanezwe commenced. This is another project by Colortrade! On the 31st January 2026, the Quarsingh family together with the friends of Kevelaer commemorated the demise of Michael Quarsingh. The late Michael would affectionately refer to himself as ' the lion of Braemar'. This was informed by the fact that Michael loved Kevelaer. He would generously participate in any progressive project at Kevelaer. To keep his memory alive, the family donated a concrete picnic bench to Kevelaer flanked by a concrete lion sculpture. Eternal rest grant unto him,O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon him, may his soul rest in peace. Amen.

Kevelaer is in receipt of the lights couriered by Adrian Whiffier and his family thus fulfilling their pledge of improving the interior of the church at Kevelaer. A word of gratitude goes to Moses Govender for bringing this material to Kevelaer today albeit his hectic work schedule. Mary comforter of the afflicted, pray for us!
