*PENTECOST*
*THE POWER*
*THE PROMISE*
*AND THE HARVEST*
Fifty days after the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,and ten days after His ascension into heaven,something extraordinary happened.One hundred and twenty believers gathered in an upper room in Jerusalem,waiting in obedience for the promise Jesus had spoken of:
"I am going to send you what my Father has promised." *Luke 24:49* They did not know exactly how God would move, but they trusted His Word.Then suddenly,the sound of a mighty rushing wind filled the house. Tongues of fire rested upon each of them,and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak as the Spirit enabled them (Acts 2:1-4).

What happened next changed the world forever.

People from many nations had gathered in Jerusalem and heard the disciples declaring the wonders of God in their own languages.Peter,the same man who had once denied Jesus three times,stood up boldly and proclaimed Christ crucified,risen,and reigning as Lord.He declared the fulfillment of God's promise through the prophet Joel"I will pour out my Spirit on all people."The result? About 3,000 souls were saved,baptized,and added to the church in a single day *Acts 2:41* The Church was born.

Pentecost means "fiftieth."In the Old Testament it was the Feast of Weeks,celebrated fifty days after Passover as a thanksgiving for the firstfruits of the harvest.God chose this very day to pour out His Spirit,revealing that the greatest harvest would not be grain, *But souls.* The Holy Spirit was never given merely for a spectacle.He was given for a mission.

Pentecost reminds us that God keeps His promises.Jesus promised the Father would send the Holy Spirit,and He did exactly as He said.Likewise, every promise God has made to His children remains true.If He says He will never leave you,He will not abandon you.If He says He will provide,He will provide.If He says He will complete the work He began in you,He will finish it.Like those believers in the upper room,we must learn to wait on God with faith and expectancy.

Pentecost also teaches us that God's power is for witness,not merely comfort.Jesus said, "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses" *Acts 1:8* The Spirit empowers us to share Christ through our words,our prayers,our love,our kindness,and our testimony.The Holy Spirit does not simply make us feel better;He makes us bolder for God's glory.

Pentecost proves that one touch from God changes everything.Before Pentecost,the disciples were fearful and hiding behind locked doors.Peter was known for his denial.After Pentecost,those same disciples became fearless witnesses,and Peter preached with such authority that thousands came to Christ.

*Remember this:*
The same Holy Spirit who transformed fearful disciples into courageous servants still works today.He can turn fear into faith,weakness into strength,and doubt into confidence.

*The harvest is still now.*
We are living in the age of the Holy Spirit.God is still calling people to Himself.Every prayer you pray,every word of encouragement you give,every act of faithfulness matters in God's harvest field.No matter your age or circumstances,God can use you for His glory.

So do not seek blessings alone.Seek to be filled afresh with the Holy Spirit.As *Ephesians 5:18* teaches us,continue to be filled.A vessel that is full will overflow into the lives of others.May Pentecost be more than a date on the calendar.May it become a living reality in our hearts.Let us be people who trust God's promises,walk in His power,and participate in His harvest until Jesus returns.

*Prayer*
"Holy Spirit,fill us afresh.Make us bold witnesses for Christ.Use our lives,our strengths,our weaknesses,and every season of our journey for Your glory.Let Pentecost not simply be something we remember,but something we experience daily as we walk with You.

Have a blessed Sunday
In Jesus Name
*Amen*🙏

Good Morning
#
Warriors*

What a great loss to the Body of Christ and to all who had the privilege of knowing her.*Marlene* was more than just a friend,she was a beloved sister,aunt,niece,missionary,Bible-believing Christian,and a true prayer warrior.She faithfully served as a director of a large Christian organisation that connected believers across the globe,crossing borders and touching countless lives with the love of Christ.Above all,she was a devoted child of the Most High God.

,you will be deeply and sincerely missed.Your beautiful smile,your humble and gentle spirit,your warm and meaningful conversations,and the soothing worship that flowed from your piano playing brought comfort and joy to so many hearts.We will forever cherish your regular visits to our prayer meetings,as well as the many guests you lovingly brought along to fellowship and pray with us.We thank God for your life,for your love,and for your unwavering passion in serving God’s people.

Thank you for being such a precious part of this network of believers and for pouring your life into the work of the Kingdom.Your labour in the Lord was never in vain.

On Saturday,my wife and I were given the opportunity to see you one last time in that hospital ward.As we were leaving,the way you looked at us is something we will never forget.None of us knew that those would be our final moments together on this side of eternity.*But God,* in His infinite wisdom and mercy,called you home.Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow,we rejoice in knowing that you are now resting in the presence of the Lord whom you Love and served so faithfully.Heaven has gained a faithful servant,and earth has lost a precious soul.

* 💔too soon*
* never forgotten*
* remembered*
* ❤️loved*
And forever treasured in our hearts.

May the Lord comfort and strengthen all family,friends,and loved ones during this difficult time.Until we meet again in glory,rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus, dear *Marlene.*

Every breath we take is a gift from God.From the moment we enter this world until the day we leave it,we are reminded that life was never meant to be owned by us,but entrusted to us for a little while.We arrive with nothing,and we will leave with nothing except the condition of our soul before God.

The hands that carried us as babies were not our own.The people who taught us,helped us,employed us,encouraged us,and even lay us to rest one day,remind us that we were created to need one another.Yet so many allow pride,status, wealth,titles, possessions,and earthly success to fill their hearts with ego,forgetting how temporary this life truly is.

The houses,cars,money, fame,and luxuries of this world cannot save a soul or open the gates of Heaven.Many spend their lives chasing things they cannot keep,while neglecting the one thing that lasts forever,their relationship with God.Jesus taught us that a humble heart is more valuable than earthly riches,and that love,mercy,
kindness,and obedience to God are treasures no grave can take away.

So live simply.Walk humbly. Love people sincerely. Forgive quickly.
Help those in need.Do not think yourself greater than others,for we all stand equal before God.At the end of life,titles will fade, possessions will remain behind,and only what was done for Christ will matter.

A peaceful life with God is far greater than a wealthy life without Him.Choose humility over pride,compassion over selfishness,and faith over the temporary pleasures of this world.For the greatest person in God’s Kingdom is not the one who had the most on earth, but the one who loved God and loved others with a pure heart.

📖 “What does it profit a man to gain the whole world,and lose his own soul?”

Let us,as the body of Christ,celebrate our freedom in Jesus,not as the world does,but in truth and in Spirit.Freedom in Christ is not only being set free from sin,but being empowered to live in righteousness,peace,and purpose.In Jesus,your past no longer defines you,chains are broken,and your true identity is restored.Walk boldly in that freedom,for what Christ has set free,no one can bind again.
*Amen*🙏

“For we walk by faith,not by sight.” 2 5:7
Feelings can rise and fall like the waves,but God’s Word stands firm and unchanging.When you build your faith on His truth instead of your emotions,you remain steady even in uncertain seasons.Trust what God has said above what you feel,because His promises are faithful,reliable,and never fail.

The Story of
Rahab’s life makes one thing clear,God is not limited by your past,He is moved by your faith.Rahab was known as a pr******te in Jericho,a woman with a broken past and no spiritual heritage.Yet when she heard about the power of God,she chose to believe.She hid the spies,Risked her life,and aligned herself with God’s purpose.In that moment,her faith spoke louder than her history.

Your past may explain where you’ve been,but it does not decide where you’re going.What matters is your response to God today.Rahab went from shame to salvation,from rejection to redemption.Not only was she spared when Jericho fell,but she was also placed in the lineage of Jesus Christ 1:5.God didn’t just forgive her,He gave her a future filled with purpose.

Do not let your past disqualify you in your own eyes when God has already made a way for your redemption.Faith rewrites your story.When you trust God,He can turn your lowest point into the starting place of His greatest work in your life.

Your cannot your when your faith is placed in God.

* for the *

True faith is not proven when everything makes sense,it is revealed when nothing does.Faith that rests,even in confusion,
Shows complete trust in God’s character,not just His answers.When we choose to be still instead of anxious
And trust instead of questioning,we declare that God is still in control.

* 3:5*
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

Even when you don’t understand His plan,you can trust His heart.

Rest in God today,He is working behind the scenes for your good.

*The Cross*

The *Cross* was not the *end*

What looked like *defeat…*
*Was actually divine victory*

On this day,
Jesus didn’t *lose,He fulfilled.*

He carried our sin,our shame,our pain… *and paid it in full.*

Good Afternoon

*Isaiah 53:5*
“But He was pierced for our transgressions,He was crushed for our iniquities,the punishment that brought us peace was on Him,and by His wounds we are healed.”

Good Friday is a powerful reminder of the greatest sacrifice ever made.Jesus gave His life on the cross
Not for *His sins,but for ours.*

His suffering brought us forgiveness,healing,and reconciliation with God.
What looked like defeat was actually victory.

Through the cross,love conquered sin,and grace overcame judgment.

*Never forget the price*
*That was paid for you.*

You are loved, forgiven,and redeemed.Walk in the freedom and victory that Jesus secured on the cross.

Lord Jesus,Thank You for the cross.Thank You for Your sacrifice and for the gift of salvation.Help me to live a life that honors what You have done for me.

In Jesus Name
*Amen*🙏

*Every drop of Jesus*
*Blood🩸 speaks love,*
*Reminding us that our healing,freedom,and peace were purchased at the cross,never take lightly what cost Jesus everything.*

Christ may not always remove the suffering,but He strengthens us within it.In every trial,sickness
And struggle,His desire is that we remain faithful,patient,and victorious,guarding our hearts from sin and keeping our trust in Him.What we go through does not define us,but how we stand in Christ does.

2 12:9
“But He said to me,‘My grace is sufficient for you,for My power is made perfect in weakness.’”

Stay strong,stay pure,and stay anchored in Him.
