SHOULD I REMAIN LOYAL TO A WRONG LEADER?: This question came to my heart sometime ago and I began to think on what my answer should be, However, what does the Bible teaches? Does the Bible support that you should follow a leader who is leading you in the wrong direction? No. Most times, when God visits the iniquity of a wrong leader, He is going to judge the followers who were faithful to his wrong leadership. When certain people sinned in the Bible and they were to face God's judgment, I saw that they were destroyed together with their families, relatives and all that is connected to them.
Meaning that, you can't be justified by saying "I obeyed the wrong counsel of my leader because he is my leader and I cannot disobey him" - Inasmuch as your leader is leading you contrary to the will of God, you must not agree with him or her.
Sometimes, it is difficult for some people to disagree with a wrong leader because they are already emotionally connected to him or her, but I need to tell you that the matters of GOD'S KINGDOM is not an emotional affair, you are either on the Lord's side or on the enemy's side. And I don't think you will want to follow your leader to hell if he has chosen to lead you to hell. Some people so much believe what their pastor says than what the Bible says...You tell them what they are doing is wrong, they'll tell you they are following the leadership or mentorship! I am not preaching that you should be arrogant or disrespectful to your leaders but I am saying that you need to disagree with any leadership system that is against the will of God.
IT IS BETTER TO BE HATED BY ALL MEN FOR THE SAKE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS THAN TO FALL UNDER THE ANGER OF GOD!! Be wise!!! Amen.

Reject the spirit of Idolizing your pastor. Reject the spirit of playing or getting familiar with their leadership. Submit faithfully under their leadership, and Serve God WITH them - they are your brothers in the Lord!

You and your pastor share the same Father "God," you're brothers. Therefore serve God together!
