It is in the human nature to try and change our lives for better life; engage in activism that we believe can change our societies. We fight the battles in our lives and communities in the name of justice, which is good .The better life might not be about the material but about dealing away with the bad habits, the anger, bitterness, injustice in any form that not only consumes us and communities, gives a bad name but also hurts the people around us. How many times have we tried to change our life for the better? How many times have those campaigns had a lasting impact? We always commit, make resolution but our own efforts always fail us. It shows our weakness as human beings to save ourselves and rescue ourselves. It shows that we need somebody powerful and stronger to intervene and be part of all our efforts so that we can be able to have a lasting solution not only to our families but the community at large. But it all begins with a change of heart, not our neighbours or somebody. We like taking ourselves out of the equation and point fingers and blame others. The change of heart has to start with you and me, so that so that all our efforts should not be in vain. Only King Jesus can be the saviour that brings a lasting change of heart that can transform our lives , so that we can have safe and healthy homes , communities and nations.

A hero is defined as a person who is admired for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. It is not many people who meet that criteria and sometimes when we think that we have found that person, something bad or that we see as a flaw or weakness creeps out and makes that person ordinary. It is not up to us to judge, or condemn because we are the one's who chose them as our heroes. As human beings we tend to accept and move with the majority instead of looking up to that person that has been tried , tested and found to be unchangeable through the ages. if only we can learn to fix our eyes upon Jesus Christ , then we won't feel neglected, discouraged and disheartened when the people we perceive as heroes fail us.

The successful or sometimes unsuccessful lives we live , can blind us to the true meaning of life and even our relationship with God. We celebrate our success and accept some of the events in our lives, without gratitude and the acknowledgement of the grace of God upon our lives because they favor us at that time , or become disappointed and angry at God when things don't go our way without caring to know if there is anything that we need to learn or change during those situations. The condition of our hearts matters in our relationship with Him, whether good or bad . God's perfect will only prevail in our lives if He is the Lord of our hearts. Successful or not , it does not mean you have the right standing with God if you have never accepted Him as your savior .It is not everything that comes from the Lord. May the perfect will of God prevail in our lives as we move into a relationship with Him.

Sometimes you might find yourself in a job and/or role that is not exciting as you thought it would be , when you wanted it. It is no longer exciting and it might be overwhelming or too much work, than you thought and it drains and make you want to get out of it . Unfortunately some roles like being a mother or leader cannot be easily dumped. The good news is that through the help of the Holy Spirit you can be able to overcome anxiety, the inadequacy that you feel sometimes and STEP UP to your role . You have overcome!

Occasionally when we think that things are not going our way or when the odds seems against us, we tend to forget that our lives and our future is in God's hands. He is that one that has a final say upon our lives. No matter who can say what or how everything might look. When God speaks or has spoken , there is nothing that can change what He has said. In the midst of the challenges, He says that your future is secured, there is hope for you , and He will give you peace. As He has spoken So be it! So shall it be ! Amen and Amen
