On Wednesday, 3 June 2026, our divine service was conducted by our Priest Jean Reichel.

𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁: 𝗜𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝟮𝟴:𝟭𝟲 (𝗡𝗞𝗝𝗩)
Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation; whoever believes will not act hastily.”

𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲: Jesus Christ gives us security

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆:
● In Christ, we have a solid foundation.
● His word and love are unchanging, His grace is perfectly effective, and His authority is absolute.
● Let us trust Him, love Him, and seek His grace.

𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫

On Monday, 1 June 2026, the Ministers of Lincoln Estate gathered for their monthly ministers’ meeting to discuss various aspects of the work within the congregation.

The evening commenced with prayer by our Rector, after which matters arising from our previous meeting were reviewed, reflecting on progress made and developments since we last met. We also reflected on the many blessings and impact of the Pentecost week experiences.

Discussions covered upcoming events, the role each minister plays within the congregation, and our collective responsibility in ensuring that Lincoln Estate remains a place of peace, love, and acceptance for all who enter.

Particular attention was given to the care we are called to provide for God’s children, both directly through personal interaction and indirectly through our conduct, example, and service. This was further reinforced during the spiritual portion of the evening, based on 1 Peter 5:2–6, reminding us to shepherd God’s flock willingly, humbly, and with genuine love.

Through open engagement, ministers shared their views, concerns, and insights on how we can continue to grow and conduct ourselves as faithful servants of the Lord.

Of course, no evening of fellowship would be complete without some coffee and nibbles, enjoyed together. The meeting concluded with prayer by our Deacon Alexi Simpson.

𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕓𝕝𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕥𝕣𝕚𝕦𝕟𝕖 𝔾𝕠𝕕

On Sunday, 31 May 2026, our divine service was conducted by our Priest Daniel Burt who was assisted by our Priest Jean Reichel. This is the first Sunday after Pentecost also known as Trinity Sunday.

𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁: 𝟮 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟭𝟯:𝟭𝟰 (𝗡𝗞𝗝𝗩)
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲: The work and activity of the triune God are expressed in the closing benediction of the divine service.

𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆:
● The Trinitarian benediction is a powerful promise
● The blessing is addressed first and foremost to us personally. Yet it must also have an impact on those around us.
● The blessing of God encourages us to live our lives as true Christians

During today’s Sunday school lessons, our parents had the opportunity to teach the Sunday school classes, a time enjoyed by both parents and children.

We sold a total of 140 boerewors combos in 3 days!
