Thank You, my gracious and sovereign God, that You have

been with me and carried me from the day of my birth until today...

that You have known my whole life, from beginning to end, since

before I was born... and that You wrote in Your book all the days

that You ordained for me before one of them came to be.

Thank You that in Your gracious plan to bless and use me,

You've allowed me to go through hard times, through trials that

many people go through in this fallen world. How glad I am that

You're so good at reaching down and making something beautiful

out of even the worst situations! How encouraged I am when I

think how You did this for Joseph... how his brothers hated and

abused and betrayed him, and how You worked these things out

for blessing, both Joseph and his family and for countless other

people.

In everything give thanks; for this is God's

will for you in Christ Jesus. Thessalonians 5:18

I'm so grateful that all my past circumstances were

permitted by You to make me see my need for You and prepare my

heart for Your Word... to draw me to Yourself, and to work out Your

good purposes for my life. I rejoice that You are the Blessed

Controller of all things--- You are now, You will be throughout the

future, and You always were. All my days had Your touch of love

and wisdom, whether or not I can fully see it.

And Lord, I choose to look beyond my past and present troubles in this life--- and fix my eyes on the unseen things that will last forever. I praise You for the eternal glory these things are piling up for me as I choose to trust You.

It has been a rough weekend. Yesterday, I woke up

especially anxious. Just prior to getting up, a dear friend sent one of

the most powerful things I have heard. A perfect reminder of Who

I serve, and what I have available.

So many things recently that have been "piled" upon me.

Heartaches, uncertainties, and frustrations. This clip reminded me

and reminds all of us, that no matter what comes our way, we are

unbreakable because we have a Mighty God!

"Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am

your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold

you with my righteous right hand."

- Isaiah 41:10

There is nowhere you can go where God is not present. He surrounds you—before you, behind you, beside you, and within you through His Spirit. When life feels uncertain, His protection covers you. When loneliness creeps in, His presence fills the void. When discouragement threatens to overwhelm you, His unfailing love reminds you that you are never forgotten.

Look around today and see His fingerprints everywhere—in the sunrise declaring His faithfulness, in the stars revealing His majesty, in the changing seasons bringing new hope and new beginnings. Psalm 139 assures us that He knows our every thought, struggle, and dream. He sees every tear and hears every prayer.

Take heart today. The God who spoke the universe into existence walks with you through every valley and mountaintop. His power is limitless, His love unfailing, and His mercy new every morning. You are surrounded by an awesome God who will never leave you nor forsake you.

"Lord, You have been our dwelling place throughout all generations." — Psalm 90:1

Worldwide Prodigal Prayer Day is Tuesday June 2nd.

A day set aside that people around the world are praying

for loved ones and friends.

Yes, we pray for those that we love on a regular basis,

however, I find it so comforting to know that hearts and prayers

are being lifted on high. Imagine, the amount of voices with

prayers being raised to our Heavenly Father on behalf of our

loved ones. The enemy doesn't have a chance, and will not succeed

in the end. God is on HIS throne, and is mighty to save!

Cling to the promises of God. Pray, read out loud and

claim scripture.

Know that as you pray for your loved one, we also are

praying to see mighty things happen.

Do not be afraid, For I am with you; I will bring your children

from the east and gather you from the west. I will say to the north,

"Give them up!" and to the south, "Do not hold them back."

Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the

earth - Isaiah 43:6

Is anything too hard for the LORD? Genesis 18:14

Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep

all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and

their children forever! Deuteronomy 5:29

GOD IS WITH US IN OUR SORROW

Sorrow can cause us to doubt God's plan. The psalmist cried,

"Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed

for all time. Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger

withheld his compassion?" (Psalm 77:8-9). Though we may face

troubles and difficulties, sadness and pain, God is still in control,

and he is always with us.

When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love,

O LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great

within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.

Psalm 94: 18-19

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath

are the everlasting arms.

Deuteronomy 33:27

We must remember to listen closely to God's voice

when trouble rages around us. When the agonies of life begin

to crush us, God has not moved away from us. Often we have

moved away from him. We need to return to him in faith and call

on him for his strength.

I have put my trust in you. Show me the

way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Psalm 143: 8

I sought the LORD, and he answered me;

he delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 34:4

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by

prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to

God. Nd the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will

guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7

"Do not be anxious about anything." That is a huge

statement for me. How do we avoid and drown out those things

that buzz around in our heads? Those things, both big and small,

that cause us to worry.

Philippians 4:6-7 is a great reminder. Many times in the

Bible, we read about the instruction not to worry. Here we are told

to pray about everything, asking God to hear us. The next

instruction can be difficult to implement when life is so difficult.

However, I have found that finding things to be thankful for in spite

of the circumstances, does help. Focusing on the "haves" instead

of the "have nots".

It is amazing the peace that is available when we

implement these. A peace that cannot be explained other than it

comes from God.
