Guru Nanak
(April 15, 1469 - September 22, 1539) Age 70.
Guru Nanak's teachings emphasis on universal humanity regardless of religion. He travelled all surrounding parts of India and travelled through many countries and places as far as Mecca and the Mediterranean. From a young age he questioned religious practices and life, his philosophy rejects religious rituals, idol worship, fastings, sacrificing to god, holy days, food restrictions, directional pray, religious symbols, religious clothing, religious chanting, offerings to god, pilgrimages, caste system, unequality and more. Guru Nanak was way ahead of his time in thought and mind, to this day still hard for some to absorb, practice and condition the mind to this level of higher thought. He said all these are useless, futile and meaningless and do not aid the mind to realizing the true concious reality, the presence and thy true existence and understanding the true glory of GOD.
