SELAH 2025
A Christian Woman’s Retreat for Creative Rest in God’s Presence
Recap #2
At SELAH 2025, we connected with God and one another.
We sang. We learned. We prayed. We danced. We laughed. We walked. We were silent. We created. We shared. We healed.
And in all of it, something deeper happened: we regulated, reconnected, and experienced what true rest feels like.
Selah 2025 created space for women to experience the therapeutic power of community and the spiritual grounding of God’s presence.
Through guided reflective practices, meaningful conversations, and moments of shared joy, we explored how psychotherapy and the theology of rest beautifully meet.
We honored our bodies by resting or walking in nature.
We tended to our emotions.
We allowed stillness to do its quiet work.
We let laughter and dance release what words could not.
We embraced silence as a sacred intervention.
Together, we healed — gently, safely, intentionally.
This retreat reminded us that rest is not passive but rather it is a deliberate, intentional grounding. A God-designed space where clarity grows, resilience strengthens, and hope breathes again.
Here’s to the women who showed up with open hearts.
Here’s to the healing that began.
And here’s to the restorative work God continues to do in each of us.
