Don't be apathetic.

Republican lawmakers in several states so far this year introduced bills that would legally treat abortion as homicide.

02/11/2026

Virginia Democrats, who hate Christ and love injustice, are still working on SB137–a bill that would severely hinder public ministry at the murd*r mills.

1) Pray imprecatory prayers against them. Daily.
2) GO be salt & light.
3) Call and write your legislators and urge them to OPPOSE this bill.

It has already passed the Senate; it currently sits in the House.

🚨AAVA UPDATE 🌳🪓

Abolish Abortion Virginia exists to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ into direct conflict with the sin of child sacrifice. For many years, we have labored in our Commonwealth seeking to plant the seeds of abolition. We have a bill, but no politician with the backbone to carry it. We have several faithful Christians involved, yet the work continues. God has called us to this great task, and He is calling Christians everywhere to abolish—not regulate—human abortion.

To make matters worse, Virginia Democrats have passed HJ1, a referendum that would enshrine child sacrifice in the Virginia Constitution. Virginia residents will be voting on this issue this fall. Simply put, our state is under duress, and this crisis stems from a lack of repentance. Churches are largely silent, and those that show interest are often compromised by pro-life pragmatism.

While AAVA has operated primarily as a grassroots movement, the time has come to formalize and structure our work. After meeting to advance this effort, we are pleased to announce that Pastor Jason Garwood has assumed the role of President. Allen Cohen will serve alongside him as Vice President.

In partnership with The Virginia Center for Public Theology and Cross & Crown Church, AAVA is now better positioned to continue this battle in Virginia. As part of this next phase, AAVA will begin accepting donations to further the work of abolition. These funds will support future initiatives such as regular college outreaches, an annual conference, high school outreaches, and abortion-mill ministry. We also intend to strengthen partnerships with abolitionists groups across the nation, including our friends at Abolitionists Rising.

Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us? You can give at the link below:

More important than fundraising is the call for boots on the ground. Please do not give to this work if you do not intend to be involved with it in some capacity. The Lord Jesus Christ calls every Christian to be salt and light. We do not seek to outsource obedience. Repentance is required, and it is the duty of the Christian Church to seek justice (Micah 6:8).

Lastly, please share this post and help spread the word. Christ is Lord! Abortion must be abolished—to the glory of God alone.
