You are invited to help support the brave first responders at the collapsed Surfside condo. Donations will be taken to Miami about 9am Monday.

Amid the hurt and danger of the Surfside condo building collapse, first responders continue the search and rescue mission, and we want to support them. United Methodist churches in South Florida are collecting the following items to include in snack bags for these courageous individuals:
beef jerky
hand sanitizer
hard candies
wet wipes
Most importantly, notes of encouragement. We want to put one in each bag.
You can bring these to worship on Sunday morning or to a box that will be placed outside the church office door, off NE 49th Street. Today, 100 kids at three public elementary schools will carry home bags filled with food for the weekend, thanks to Carry Out for Kids and their intrepid volunteers. Mark Thomason unloaded three carts full of easy-to-open foods last Saturday for future bags. Carry Out for Kids missed only a week or two in the past year because of the pandemic. Thanks to your gifts and the volunteers, food went home with kids who might not eat when schools are closed. So grateful that we are able to share God's love in this way.

We are so excited to announce that we will begin food deliveries this week. This week’s delivery will provide 23 meals to students at Bennett Elementary. Thank you to Amy Rubin who will be making these deliveries!

Thank you Julia and Alexis for helping us bag food this week for Carry Out! Since schools have closed, the staff at Bennett Elementary have delivered over 250 bags to our families.
