Take some time to be with Friends on Christmas Eve.

Durham Friends Meeting will hold two silent worship Christmas Eve Candlelight services at 7 pm
- In-person in the Worship Room. 404 Alexandar Ave, Durham, NC 27705

Beginning with a solitary candle, each attender can light their own candle and share a message as they feel led. Thus we grow together from darkness into Light.

Children, extended family, and friends are all welcome to attend.

We ask that Friends attending in person bring a candle and candle holder to put on the table. Extra candles will be available. There will be some refreshments available as well as carol singing before worship, starting at 6 pm.

For Friends' consideration, a "Gratitude for Creation" event will be held on November 19. This is an interfaith gathering hosted by Greystone Baptist Church in Raleigh.

"Join us for a gathering of people from many faiths who will celebrate gratitude for Creation with sacred readings, song, prayers, a dramatic reading, and reflections on Creation care from different faith traditions."
