As we prepare to observe Memorial Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women of York County who gave their lives in service to our country.

The flag is carefully folded 13 times, and each fold carries a symbolic meaning, representing life, honor, sacrifice, faith, and the principles our nation was built upon. When the folding is complete, the flag forms the shape of a tri-corner hat, reminiscent of those worn by patriots during the Revolutionary War.

This Memorial Day, may we never forget the cost of freedom and the families who carry that sacrifice every day. We are forever grateful to those who served and those who gave all. 🇺🇸
