Women Of Shekinah Glory International (WOSGI) was birthed through a spiritual experience in the Atlanta home of Benita Wallace, a dear Sister In Christ, (Month, Year). Washington was facilitating a women’s prayer and inner healing session in Georgia. It was through this encounter that God commissioned h
er to birth the ministry of Women Of Shekinah Glory International. Prophetess Washington gave her life to the Lord at the tender age of seventeen, under the leadership of Evangelist Grace L. Page of the Youth Action Center For Christ in Washington, D.C. Under the anointed leadership and teachings of Evangelist Page, Prophetess Washington began to be a witness for Christ by going into prisons, the hospitals, and yes, even on the street corners. She has even had the pleasure of sharing in ministry and fellowship with distinguished leader and renowned Gospel artist, Pastor Shirley Caesar, of Mt. Calvary Word of Faith Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Prophetess Washington is the Founder & President of WOSGI. She is also the Co-Founder, Co-Pastor and First Lady of Christians Of Faith Teaching Ministries (COFTM) In 1988, she and her husband Dr., Apostle Leroy Vincent Washington, Sr., were first led to begin a work in Alexandria, Virginia; thus being the birth of a great outreach ministry (which is now located in Woodbridge Virginia). In 1990, under the leadership of Apostle Washington, Prophetess Washington was ordained and called to do the work of an Evangelist and Prophetess. In 2000, Drs., Apostle and Prophetess Washington were led by the Spirit of the Lord to begin a work in Wallace, North Carolina (which is now located in Turkey, North Carolina) and continues to flourish to this day. In 2002, Prophetess Washington joyously received her Doctorate in Theology and Religious Studies from the COFTM’s Ministers In Training Institute through her dedicated efforts and numerous years of study. God has given her favor to personally lead individuals in both spiritual and natural development. She is a believer in the building of a people through the Word of God for real change in their lives. Being faithful in spreading the message of faith and hope, Prophetess Washington is a woman whose God-centered message has reached the masses to perpetuate growth in Christ and to inspire a hunger for the things of God. She has been called to a life of servitude and ministry through the delivering power of Jesus Christ. She is an anointed Prophetess and gifted teacher, preacher, conference speaker and praise and worship leader. She uses her God-given abilities and talents to help motivate, guide and equip individuals spiritually, emotionally and physically to grow from one level to the next. Over the past 30 years, Prophetess Washington has lovingly supported her husband in ministry. Her arms are always outstretched to a soul in need. She oversees the Women’s Fellowship Group, the Intercessory Prayer Group and the Inner Healing Sessions and she also teaches Bible Study and is Co-Chair on COFTM’s Board of Directors. Not only is she an Evangelist, Prophetess, Counselor, Instructor and Minister – she is also a loving Mother, devoted Wife and wonderful Grandmother. Prophetess Washington is passionate about educating, encouraging and empowering others to be all they can be in Christ. She has travelled from coast-to-coast teaching, ministering, witnessing and mentoring women. She has facilitated intercessory prayer and women’s inner healing sessions to show women how to break free of the past and how to embrace the future God has intended and designed. Prophetess Washington has the heart and spirit of a true servant leader and her ministry and teachings are invaluable to women across the world.
