From last night's discussion:
Faithfulness is a fruit of the Spirit. Faithfulness in the Bible is NOT the same thing as Belief. God is faithful to us. Jesus is the human demonstration of His Faithfulness.
Faithfulness is loyalty, consistency, and steadfastness.

When we look to the fruits of the Spirit within us, they exemplify these things. Toward God, and toward each other.
As an extension of the principle that God is Love. And God created us to love and be loved. Love all, even our enemies. He consistent and steadfast.
And with Hope (also doesn't require belief) and especially with Love, we pursue Faithfulness with God. Daily making a relationship with Him a priority of our lives

We have been reviewing the Fruits of the Spirit and looking on how to recognize and better our Fruit.
Our next topic of focus is 'Faithfulness' and one our regular attendees has agreed to help illuminate this subject for us!

What we've covered: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness

What's planned for the first Mondays April-June: Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-Control.

That was the 9 month plan, with our 9 Fruits of the Spirit.
Last year I was encouraged to call it quits during the summer, because we had too much going on.

Now hear me out... what if instead... for those next 3 months...
We don't quit.
We pick it up a notch and meet twice per month.
Outside somewhere where no one has to unlock doors for us...

But instead of a series, each one will be it's own lesson - so the women who don't like to drive in the dark can come more in those months the sun shines later.
And the snow-birds can join us for our worshipful singing...

Then in October we recycle back to revisiting our Fruits.

I know we've sometimes been a small gathering.
But we are mighty.
And I don't think it should stop
