IT'S FISH FRY TIME AGAIN!

The annual Good Friday Fish Fry is coming up fast! Come and dine on fish & chips, coleslaw, baked beans, and dessert. Proceeds to benefit Boy Scout Troop 17 and the Knights of Columbus. Adults are $13, children 5-12 are $8, and children under 5 are free. Tickets are available at the door, or you can call 860-379-3958 and let the scoutmaster know you'll be coming. Seating is open from 4:30 to 7:00 pm. at Indian Meadow Estate (Knights of Columbus Hall), 122 Marshall St. Winsted.

IT'S FISH FRY TIME AGAIN!

The annual Good Friday Fish Fry is coming up fast! Come and dine on fish & chips, coleslaw, baked beans, and dessert. Proceeds to benefit Boy Scout Troop 17 and the Knights of Columbus. On November 11th, Troops 17 & 33 will be holding a flag retirement ceremony at Indian Meadow Estate, 122 Marshall St, Winsted CT. This solemn ceremony will take place at 7 pm. At that time the troops will also be collecting donations of non-perishable food items for the Open Door. Flags no longer serviceable and in need of retirement can be brought to the ceremony or you may provide your contact information to the troop via email at [email protected] and we will try to arrange to pick up your flag.

Only one week left until the annual fish fry dinner at the Knights of Columbus Hall (now known as Indian Meadow Estate), 122 Marshal St. Winsted. Dine in or take out. Serving from 4:30 to 7 p.m. on Good Friday (4/3). Tickets can be reserved by contacting Joe Brady via email ([email protected]) and are also available at the door. Come and enjoy a good meal, and bring your friends!

A big thank-you to Mrs. Silverio at Pearson School for allowing me to visit with the 5th and 6th graders during their lunch to talk about Scouting. I was identified by a few of the students as Santa, but reminded them that just like in "The Incredibles" your true identity should be your most carefully guarded secret, and for now I was to be called simply Mr. Brady.
