Good Morning Melton Family! I would like to extend an invitation to you to go ahead and plan to attend the 2026 Melton Cemetery Reunion!

I still don't have the group picture ready to post and haven't counted the number there and compared to thre prior year but it seemed like we had less attendees this year!

We have received some donations but probably not enough to cover the mowing for the summer. We will mow it with money we have in reserve but would like to at least collect enough yearly to mow. IF you are so led we would be pleased to have a donation.

Just to try to keep those of you that live far away appraised of some thing we are planning. We are currently attempting to get a sign placed on the highway to designate that our cemetery is a landmark as well as to show where it is located. We will have that expense this year if we are able to complete that process and IF you would like to donate specifically for that those funds would also be appreciated.

Finally, I would like to say that if you come to the reunion in 2026 you could actually make your trip very eventful by exploring Winnfield and the surrendering areas. Remember that Winnfield is the home of three Louisiana Governors , Earl K. Long, Huey P. Long and O. K. Allen! Visit the Winnfield museum to see all about the Governor's! Also, if you are interested in Flea Markets Michael May has recently developed a North Louisiana Fkea market map . Https://fleamarket.winnfreenet.com . Check the map
Out as well as my Winnfield Tourism page for ideas of sites, businesses and other areas to visit!!!

Please plan to come! We would love to have more attendance at our very UNIQUE FAMILY CEMETERY!!
