There is a slight change to the Mass Schedule for our parishes this coming weekend (August 15-16):

Saturday, August 15:
5pm Mass Under the Tree in Lyons (NO 5pm Mass in Bancroft) See graphic below for details
5pm Emerson

Sunday, August 16:
NO 8am Mass in Lyons
9:15am Jackson
10am Pender
11am Winnebago

This weekend there will also be Missionary Priests representing the Catholic Church in Tanzania at all the Masses this weekend. A Second Collection will be taken up to support their ministry. Please be generous.

Make plans to join the Knights of Columbus this Saturday

The Knights of Columbus 13th Annual 🥩& 🌽 feed is Saturday August 8th 5-7 pm.

This event is open to the Public serving top end Sirloin, all you can eat Hippies sweet corn along with Cucumbers and Onions (while they last) ice tea and lemonade included with you meal. We also have the coldest ice down beer in town and a full bar.

Next Saturday, August 15th the annual “Mass under the tree” will be held on the St. Joseph, Lyons Church rectory east lawn at 5 pm. A picnic will follow the Mass. Please bring a salad or dessert and a lawn chair. Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks and silverware are provided. Please note that on that afternoon there will be no 5 pm vigil Mass at Holy Cross, Bancroft.

On Saturday, August 15th and Sunday, August 16th, our annual mission co-op priests with be celebrating all the Masses. There will be a second collection for the co-op at all the weekend Masses.
