COMMUNITY PRAYER VIGIL — FRIDAY AT 8:30 PM

Join us this Friday at 8:30 PM at GracePointe as we come together as a community to pray, grieve, remember, and stand with those affected by this heartbreaking tragedy.

During the vigil, we will have a candle-lighting time in remembrance of the lives lost. 🕯️

We also invite anyone who would like to bring flowers or stuffed animals to place on the steps of the stage as a visible expression of love and remembrance. 💐🧸

For families with little ones, nursery workers will be present during the vigil, and the service will be shown live on the TV in the nursery so parents can still take part while their children are cared for.

Following the vigil, GracePointe will carefully collect the flowers and stuffed animals and take them to the memorial established in front of the home.

This gathering is for our entire community, and everyone is welcome.

Our community is hurting, and in moments like this, we believe the Church is called to come together—not for a name, building, or denomination, but for Winfield.

This Friday at 8:30 PM, GracePointe will open its doors for a Community Prayer Vigil as we gather to worship, pray, grieve, and stand together with everyone impacted by this week’s tragedy.

This isn’t about GracePointe. This is about a hurting community coming together and bringing light into the darkness.

Whether you attend church or not, you are welcome.

Our hearts are heavy for our Winfield community tonight.

In the wake of an unimaginable tragedy, we are asking our church family and our entire community to join us in prayer.

Pray for the family and loved ones experiencing tremendous loss. Pray for friends, neighbors, first responders, and everyone impacted. Pray for comfort, strength, peace, and healing in the difficult days ahead.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Winfield, we are praying with you and for you.

Lord, be near to the brokenhearted. Bring comfort where words cannot, peace in the midst of grief, and surround every person affected with Your love and presence.

Please join us in lifting our community up in prayer.
