INKSPIRE registration now open! All information updated on our website: inkspirecamp.com

To celebrate our 10th year, we have lots of delicious surprises to support our special theme of food--Writing à La Mode.

We also have unveiled our first logo, as well as uploaded new photos and videos from camp last year - especially our sky lantern photo where students sent their poetry in flight.

New going forward - we also will help campers learn listening skills since listening is our most daily used communication skill but the least taught. Learning to listen in academic, professional, personal, and community settings is vitally important, and this all begins with the right mindset.

We will paint another awesome Van Gogh this year. "Still Life with Apples" is not as well-known as last year's "Starry Night", but those electrifying swirls are still present! This foodie masterpiece complements our theme and some of our class content about one famous Kentucky food tradition at weddings.

Early bird registration ends May 31st. Feel free to share with friends.

Take care - only 121 days until camp starts!

Mizz JJ, along with Mizz Jennifer and Mizz Jenny

https://www.inkspirecamp.com

2. Mornings on Main with Tim Smith

At 8 a.m., Tim hosts different guests. Monday, June 7, Mizz JJ talks about Inkspire Writing Camp.

Because of this radio show and the website going live, the early bird discount has been extended to online registration or snail mail postmarked by Monday, June 14. This gives us great planning options for our small class sizes. If you have any questions, please let me know. Wait till you see the t-shirts this year!

When your application is received, you will receive an email.

Plans are overflowing for the ninth annual writing camp. Loads of fun with exciting speakers, a special craft project, Starry Night canvas, great books, lots of games. And all the time we are learning all sorts of new writing techniques (including asking thoughtful questions) that will make your students highly satisfied with their written work. What a gift to help your children grow in satisfaction with their written communication skills—and have the mindset of writing is fun and beautiful!

With our general theme of sky, we will explore topics such as the planets to birds to astronauts to clouds to weather and more!

Take care, Mizz JJ, Mizz Jennifer, Mizz Jenny, and Mizz Carolyn. Writing is what we do. Come join the creative community.

Writing Camp 2021...better than ever. Theme and plans are still being developed, but we are back to one camp for grades 4-12.

August 2-6, 2021

Why a bit late? Mizz JJ is teaching creative writing at the Governor's Scholar Program this summer and that finishes July 30th.

The products of all of the Library's craft projects are great, but this is our first to be displayed in Japan! Check out the cranes we made this summer at the Children's peace monument in Hiroshima. The staff there also sends heartfelt gratitude for all of you who participated.
