An endorsement I received today…

Your reference has shared an encouragement to support your journey as a Wedding Officiant.

Here's what they had to say:
"John, I just wanted to encourage you today. I truly believe the Holy Spirit is at work in your life, and it’s been a blessing to watch how God is shaping you. I believe the Lord has great and mighty things ahead for you as you continue to walk faithfully with Him. One thing I want to encourage you in is to trust His timing. God doesn’t need us to force doors open or make things happen in our own strength. As you stay faithful, keep your heart humble, and allow Him to unfold His plan naturally, He will open the right doors at the right time. What God builds in His timing is always stronger than anything we could build on our own. Keep seeking Him, keep growing, and keep surrendering every step to Him. I’m proud of the work He’s doing in you, and I’m excited to see where He leads you. Stay faithful, trust His timing, and let the Holy Spirit continue to guide your steps. I have no doubt God is preparing you for exactly what He has called you to do."

We're cheering you on too — keep going!

John T. Oldham

From Wills Point, Texas

I am 61 years old, and I am grateful to be at peace and fully dedicated to the calling God has placed on my life. My ministry website is phil413ministry.org, and my heart is to serve the Lord through witnessing, outreach, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I also serve alongside my wife, Kimberly Ann Oldham, in our HUNGRY AND HOMELESS mission, where we focus on helping others and pointing people to Christ.

My education includes Brian Piccolo Middle Schoo in Chicago IL, Holy Trinity High School in Chicago IL, Warren High School in Gurnee IL, and Waukegan West High School in Waukegan IL, where I graduated in 1983. After high school, I also studied music & music theory. Those years helped shape my life, but it was the Lord who gave my life true direction and purpose.

In 1996, I moved to Northeast Texas to work for Pilgrim’s Pride. While there, I met Brock Mullino in a chicken house, and he asked me, “Do you know where you would spend eternity yet if you died today?” That question stayed with me. Brock invited my family to church and while in a small Bible study in his office at Macedonia Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Texas a few months later, that is where I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I was saved in that moment, and I will never forget God’s mercy and grace in my life. I was Baptized a few weeks later... Amen

Before fully surrendering to the Lord, I struggled with women, music, drinking, and h***y tonks, but God brought me out of those things and gave me a new life. I married Kimberly Ann Oldham in 1996, and together we attend Community Life Church in Canton, Texas. I am thankful for the influence of Pastor Lennie Phillips and my friend Myles Pennington, who have encouraged me along the way. Today, I want my life to reflect the goodness of God and to remain faithful to the calling He has placed on me

Water For The Homeless

As the heat rises, so does our calling to care. We’re gathering bottled water and flavor mix-ins for our neighbors in need. As Proverbs 11:25 says, ‘A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.’ If you’re moved to give, we’ll provide our Cash App—let’s act quickly, as the days are getting hotter. Together, we share His grace.
Thank you so much for helping this mission
