CHURCHWIDE FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST
8:30am, June 20 | Fellowship Hall
Before these breakfasts take a break for the summer we are gathering for one last unforgettable morning of food, history, and fellowship.
In honor of the Nation’s 250th Anniversary and the 100th Birthday of Colonial Williamsburg, we are stepping back in time. Our morning menu and atmosphere will be designed in the fashion of the historic student dining commons at the College of William & Mary during the early 1700s. Don't worry—we will be serving a very heavily modified (and much more delicious!) version of this historic meal.
Our guest speaker, Gerald Bullock, a long-time member of Williamsburg United Methodist Church and Executive Director of Development for the College of Arts & Sciences at W&M, will provide an introductory background at our breakfast and will lead us on a tour of the Sir Christopher Wren Building on the campus of William and Mary. The Wren Building, which dates to a time before Williamsburg was founded and almost 100 years before the colonies declared their independence, has undergone full restoration and is now reopening.
Please RSVP by 19 June to ensure we have plenty of "modified colonial fare" for everyone! Click the link below:
