Effective October 26, Great Plains Woodcavers began meeting as a social club. We will continue to meet on the fourth Sunday of the month to do wood carving and enjoy each other’s company but will no longer keep formal minutes of our activities. We have taken this step because of our declining membership and our increasing age. We welcome anyone interested in wood carving to join us on the fourth Sunday of the month at Hillside Christian Church from 2pm to 4pm.

Harold & Elaine Enlow carvings on e-Bay

Over the next several weeks I’ll be listing a number of Harold and Elaine Enlow carvings on eBay. These are all original carvings by Harold, most painted by Elaine. Some are very early pieces that have never been seen outside Harold’s studio in Dogpatch, Arkansas, and many are the original carvings pictured in Harold’s woodcarving books. All proceeds from the auctions go directly back to the Enlow family to assist with ongoing needs. You’ll find them listed on eBay under rbl1102

October Meeting & Carve In

We would like to invite you to our October meeting and carve in, taking place on Sunday October 22 from 2pm to 4pm. The event will be held at the Hillside Christian Church, and we are excited to spend the afternoon together carving and enjoying each other's company. This is a great opportunity to get to know fellow enthusiasts and share tips and tricks. Bring your carving(s) to work on and any finished or in process carvings that you want to show.
