The Church of the Holy Spirit - Goddard The Church of the Holy Spirit was established on August 2, 1998, by Bishop Eugene J. Ge**er with Fath Ge**er with Rev. H J. Setter appointed as founding Pastor. Fr.

Rev. Setter was appointed Pastor from August 2, 1998, through May 2007. Father H Setter is currently the Pastor of St. Anthony, Garden Plain, and St. Mary, Aleppo parishes. Joseph M. Gile was appointed Pastor from June 2007 through May 2008 before his new appointment to Newman University. Michael E. Nolan was appointed Pastor from June 2008 through June 2017 before his new appointment as Chaplain

at McConnell AFB. Matthew D. Marney was appointed Pastor from June 2017 through June 2022. Matt was appointed chaplain of Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, effective July 6, 2022. Joseph Eckberg was appointed Pastor in July 2022. Please pray for Fr. Joe and all our priests and seminarians. Mass Times:

O Glorious St. Thomas, your grief for Jesus was such that it would not let you believe He had risen unless you actually saw Him and touched His wounds. But your love for Jesus was equally great and it led you to give up your life for Him. Pray for us that we may grieve for our sins which were the cause of Christ’s sufferings. Help us to spend ourselves in His service and so earn the title of “Blessed” which Jesus applied to those who would believe in Him without seeing Him. Amen.

Gile was appointed Pastor in June 2007 through May 2008, prior to his new appointment to Newman University. Father Michael E. Nolan was appointed Pastor in June 2008 through June 2017, prior to his new appointment as Chaplain at McConnell AFB. Father Matthew D. Marney was appointed Pastor in June 2017. http://catholicdioceseofwichita.org/priests-directory/priest-listing-ak Mass Times: Sat: 5:00 pm Sun: 8:00 am and 10:00 am T-F: 8:00 am; beginning 7/31/17, daily Mass will be offered at 8:00 am M-F, with confessions beforehand from 7:30 am until about 7:50 am. Confession Times: M-F 7:30 am-7:50 am; Sat: 3:30-4:15 pm; beginning 8/5/17, Saturday confessions will be moved to 3:30 pm to 4:15pm.

Eucharistic Adoration: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is available 24/7 in the Chapel at the entrance of the Church. Registered members may be granted coded access upon request.

Summer Office Hours: The office hours at the Church office will change beginning 5/29/18. During the summer, the Church office will be staffed between the hours of 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday through Friday. During the summer, the School office will be staffed between 9:00 am to Noon, Monday through Friday. Both the Church and School offices are closed Saturday and Sunday. Please check the Church and/or School website calendar for updates as needed. We should return to our normal hours of operation effective 8/15/2018.
