AGK Family -

I am thrilled to announce Jerod Yancey as our brand-new Church Health/NextGen Director! Jerod is an exceptional leader who has been pastoring one of the healthiest churches in our state. He has faithfully served in Kansas for many years, investing the last decade as the Lead Pastor of Hope Anthem Church in Ottawa, KS. Under his leadership, the church has experienced incredible growth—expanding from 90 attendees to an average of 900 today, flourishing in every spiritual, numeric, and financial metric.

Jerod’s history of strong involvement in our summer camp ministry positions him for immediate positive impact among our students and coaches this summer. Ultimately, however, we anticipate broader responsibilities and see pastors and churches throughout the AGK benefiting from Jerod’s passion for equipping church leaders and facilitating church health.

I deeply appreciate how Hope Anthem Church has blessed and supported the Yancey’s as they enter this new season of leadership. Jerod and his wife, Lindsey, along with their three boys—Noah, Caleb, and Luke—will continue for a season assisting Hope Anthem as the church begins searching for a new lead pastor.

Look what God did through AGKansas Kids!!!!

WE DID IT!!

BGMC for Kansas has never reached over $100,000- that is, UNTIL NOW! In 2024, the kids of Kansas raised $127,241.36 for BGMC!

We are so thrilled with all that God has done through the girls and boys of Kansas this past year with BGMC. Our kids (and our leaders) caught on to the heart of BGMC and gave generously to provide for our missionaries here in Kansas and all around the world!

We CAN. NOT. WAIT. to see what God does in 2025!

Today, we paused and closed the AGK office to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man who fearlessly pursued justice, equality, and unity for all people. His unwavering faith, courage, and commitment to the dream of a better world continue to inspire generations.

As we reflect on his vision, let us recommit ourselves to building bridges, spreading the love of Christ, and standing boldly for what is right.

Thank you, Dr. King, for showing us what leading with conviction and compassion means.

Your dream lives on in us.

What an incredible milestone for Iglesia Cristo Vive. Wichita, Ks! Congratulations to Hector and Elizabeth Castro for their faithful and visionary leadership.

Indeed, three monumental moments in a church-building program mark God’s provision and faithfulness: securing the loan, dedicating the building, and paying off the mortgage. Today, we celebrate the culmination of years of stewardship, sacrifice, and prayer. The last payment has been made—PRAISE THE LORD!

This is not just the burning of a mortgage; it’s a testament to God's faithfulness and the unity of His people. May this moment ignite even greater vision and opportunities for ministry in the years to come. Congratulations to the entire congregation!

It was a joy to have former AGK Secretary Vance Cauthon join me for this celebration. Pastor Vance pastored Evangel Assembly in this very building from 1982 to 2002, before their move to 21st and Maize. Adding to the joy of the day was the incredible surprise of Pastor Hector’s parents traveling all the way from Mexico to be there as the service began. What a powerful reminder of God’s goodness and the legacy of ministry in this place!
