Proverbs 11:22 teaches that a beautiful woman without discretion is like a gold ring in a pig’s snout. Outward beauty doesn’t mean much when it’s accompanied by a filthy, perverted mouth, provocative behavior, and a lack of self-control. The world may glorify the outside, but God looks much deeper.
Be careful who you idolize, who you listen to, and who you follow. And parents, be careful who you allow your children to listen to, idolize, and imitate. Not everything the world calls beautiful is worthy of influence.
