Shoutout Sunday: A festival first!
With Orie’s Garlic Fest just a week away, I had to shoutout the ones behind it: Orie's Farm Fresh • Wichita’s Regenerative Garlic Farm !
It’s my first year attending as a vendor and I couldn’t be more excited! I love garlic, and generally if a recipe calls for a clove, you can be sure I’m probably adding almost the whole bulb. Every one of my savory roll creations uses a whole gob of roasted garlic, so I went with the best and wiped out several of Orie’s offerings yesterday.
Make sure you plan a stop at the Criminal Roll booth and get slapped in the face with some garlic with a new garlic roll (announcement soon!). We would hate to hear the dreaded “needs more garlic” phrase! If it’s not garlicky enough, we will sq**rt some garlic juice in your eye and kick you in the rear. Ok, not really but you get the idea. 🧄
This shoutout goes to Ories, the organizers, and promoters who work hard to make this one of the best festivals in the Wichita area! And for providing the best local garlic you can get your hands on!
