Just a reminder that the chili cook off is on the 31st of January at 5pm. We are selling tickets for $5.00. This will get you your first bowl. The. $1 for three more bowls. That is 4 bowls for $6. Please pass the word.

We are coming up on a New Year. Legacy Outreach is planning on getting out into the community more than ever in 2026. We start with the Wichita Falls High Schools New Years Day parade viewing. Stay tuned for more to come. Merry Christmas!

Good Monday morning. How about those temperatures when you stepped out the door? Brrrrr!!! Just a reminder of the coat, sweater, hoodie, etc. drive we are doing. Here’s some facts for you: In Wichita county the poverty rate is between 15.8 and 18.2 percent. The population of Wichita county is about 130,180 thousand people. That means that there are 20,568 to 23,693 people that are living in poverty. Here in Wichita county a home of one person makes at or below $15,650 a year. That is $1304 a month, $301 a week, and $7.52 an hour. A family of four makes at or below $32,150 a year. That is $2679 a month, $618 a week, and $15.46 an hour. Please think about that for a moment. With the government shut down, no food stamps and barely enough to pay bills, how else will these people stay warm this winter. Gently used or new items can be placed in the box in the foyer.

Please remember that we are collecting coats/sweaters/hoodies and the like this month of November. This is supposed to be a really cold winter. So, please dig deep into those closets, storage buildings, etc. and bring them to the church. The donation box will be in the foyer.
