Daisy’s Pantry is aware of the potential impacts of the government shutdown on food assistance to our clients.
We are doing our best to continue serving as many people as we can through these difficult times. As you visit our pantry, please be patient. We are seeing more clients than ever before, and we still want to give each client the same care that we always have.
Thank you and God’s Blessings,

Just who is Daisy? Daisy is not just our Pantry's cute logo, but several years ago, Robert Lehman made a significant contribution to St. Paul in memory of his wife Daisy (Janet Simpson's mother). The gift was made to renovate what used to be the Pastor's study and establish a food pantry. Family had a top priority with Daisy, but food was always at the heart of family and social gatherings. It was always her mission to make the favorite foods of those she held dear. During WWII she fed soldiers in a USO kitchen, she volunteered often in her church's kitchen, loved to bake Christmas cookies for the neighbors and was always ready to take food to someone who was ill. The food stories covered travels, restaurants, weddings, dessert buffets (her favorite), and using the art of cooking to stay connected with family members. How fitting it is that our beloved food pantry is named for a lady who used food to reach out to others. We strive to proclaim and show the love and mercy of Jesus into our community as we share food and reach out beyond our walls.

The Pantry turns 15 today! On December 2, 2009, the first client was served at Daisy's Pantry. We thank God, the congregation of St. Paul, Hamburg, and the surrounding community for the decade and a half of Christ-centered service through this ministry. We pray God would sustain this ministry for many more years of gospel motivated care. "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." 1 Thessalonians 5:18
