God said to Joshua in Joshua 1:8 KJV This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success ~~
We serve a God who NEVER changes. He is the same yesterday, today and forever! He gave this directive not only to Joshua, but to each of us.

"Doctrines of devils are those which exalt the flesh without moving me in holiness toward God. A doctrine of the devil is any doctrine that excites the flesh, but whose end result does not move me towards holiness, love, dedication, sacrifice, and passion toward the Holy God. A doctrine of the devil leads me to pursue the goals that lie in self-will." ~ B.H. Clendennen
1 Timothy 4:1-2 KJV Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the ...day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. ~ Romans 13:11-14 KJV
