🚨 THE MAYOR ASKED. THE POLICE CHIEF ANSWERED. ON THE RECORD. 🚨

At the April 20th, 2026 Westland City Council meeting, Mayor Kevin Coleman asked Police Chief Kyle Dawley directly whether any threats or violence toward elected officials had been reported in the recent months.

Chief Dawley: "No, there's been no reports."

The same claim Councilwoman Melissa Sampey could not point to a single instance of before a judge on March 31st, 2026, but has continued her false narrative campaign since — now confirmed by the Police Chief as unsupported by any reports — permanently in the public record.

The Mayor spoke. The Chief confirmed. The record is clear. 🔍
