Conference Office Says Farewell to Rhonda and Ron Karr

Iowa-Missouri Conference office staff gathered for a farewell lunch honoring Rhonda and Ron Karr, who are moving to South Carolina to be near their son and daughter-in-law and their granddaughter.

The lunch was a chance for the office family to thank the Karrs for all they have given to the conference over many years. Rhonda retired four years ago, but she never really stepped away — she has continued to help the treasury department ever since, and her steady, willing presence has left a mark on everyone who has worked alongside her.

The Karrs leave behind colleagues who count them as friends. They will be missed at the conference office, and they go with the good wishes and prayers of the Iowa-Missouri family as they begin this next chapter closer to their children and granddaughter.

Adventurer Family Camp Out — Wrapping Up

What a weekend at Sunnydale Academy! Our Adventurers completed their honors, our families made memories together, and Pastor Anthony Rudalf’s messages gave us all something to carry home.

A huge thank you to the families who came out and to the Adventurer Area Coordinators who made this camp out happen. Safe travels home, everyone — we can’t wait to do it again!

Adventurer Family Camp Out — Day Two

Good morning from Adventurer Family Camp Out at Sunnydale Academy! With over 140 campers here, day one was all about setting up camp and getting settled — and today the weekend really begins.

Special guest Anthony Rudalf leads our worship talk and will be meeting with parents, while our Adventurers get to work earning several honors before the weekend wraps up.
