2026 Cafe Connection Sign Up is available:
Twice a month the Women's Guild assists Sacred Heart St. Vincent de Paul with providing desserts for the lunches that they provide to Cafe Connection. Volunteers are asked to bring 30 individual snack bags with 2 cookies/bars in each bag and drop your 30 bags of cookies off by NOON to the Parish kitchen the day before you signed up. Due to the increased number of those who are being served at lunch, we are looking for additional volunteers to make cookies for December and the 2026 signups.

We need your help with this year’s bake sale December 6-7. Please bring all baked goods and holiday treats to the parish kitchen by NOON on December 6. This is the main fundraiser of the year for the Women's Guild grant program.

Thank you to all who were able to join us for our October Women's Guild meeting. We had 2 great speakers from St. Mark's Neighborhood Fridge and learned more about how we can support them in our West Des Moines community.

The Women's Guild Winter Wearables Drive is October 18-27. We are collecting new or gently used winter items (coats, hats, mittens, boots) for the Sacred Heart School and West Des Moines Human Services. Drop off items in the bins in the vestibule or bring to the October 27 Women's Guild meeting.
