🎃🍂 Pumpkin Study Week at Little Sprouts Ministry! 🍂🎃

Our little learners have been busy exploring all things PUMPKINS! 🧡

We read books about pumpkins, made faces on our pumpkin mats to coordinate with the book and learn about emotions.

Through our playdough stations and pumpkin sensory table, our preschoolers enjoyed hands-on learning while using their creativity and imagination!
We cut pumpkins open and scooped the insides out to make pumpkin pie! Miss Kaity took it home and made us a yummy pumpkin pie for snack Friday!

Can’t forget to mention how beautiful this weather has been. We are soaking up everyday we can outside. Playing duck duck goose is our favorite!

🎃 Strengthening fine motor skills

🍁 Exploring different textures and sensory experiences

🧡 Practicing counting, sorting, and problem-solving

🌱 Learning about pumpkins and how they grow

🎨 Encouraging creativity through play

We love watching little hands explore, create, and discover! These simple, hands-on activities help build important early learning skills while making learning FUN!

Day 1 of our pumpkin unit study went great!

Some of us liked to touch and feel the squishy strands of the pumpkin during our investigation and others just wanted to take the observation approach. 🎃🤗
