Happy blessed birthday! You have brought so much love and happiness to our family and to all those you touched! ! I cannot thank you enough for being everything a mother should be and setting the stage for me as a mother! What you see NOW in me I was ALL of that! BUT GOD said .... NO MORE! I am free and you can be too! This is 10 + years worth of hardwork, going back and forth ...but when I finally made the conscious decision to live for Him ....what you see NOW is what came out! GLORY! YOU can do it .... One of the most life-affirming, stress-relieving habits you can ever practice is to give yourself grace and forgiveness for making choices with good intentions, but that result in unintended consequences (what I used to call “mistakes”).

As long as no one was harmed or violated, release yourself and let it go. (And if you did hurt someone, apologize sincerely and do your best to make amends. Then, release yourself and let it go—even if they won’t.)

Most of the good you experience was not in your plan either. Count it all joy.

Here’s an idea: Don’t beat yourself up. Ever. (I’m sure there is no shortage of people in your life willing to provide you with that “service.”) Do better—but always be kind to yourself.
