The Bible offers many scriptures on forgiveness that guide believers on how to receive mercy from God and extend it to others.

Forgiving Others

Ephesians 4:32: Emphasizes compassion and forgiving others as Christ forgave you.

Colossians 3:13: Advises bearing with and forgiving grievances as the Lord forgave you.

Matthew 6:14-15: Notes that forgiving others leads to being forgiven by the Heavenly Father.

Matthew 18:21-22: Records Jesus advising forgiveness without limit ("seventy-seven times").

God's Forgiveness for Us

1 John 1:9: Assures that confessing sins brings divine forgiveness and purification.

Psalm 103:12: Illustrates the complete removal of transgressions "as far as the east is from the west".

What unites us in Christ is greater than what tries to divides us.

In Jesus, no background, status, or distinction makes one person more worthy than another. We are all one in Him. Carry this truth into the way you see and treat people today.

Psalm 46:10 reads, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth”.

Meaning and Context

The Verse: God commands people to stop fighting or worrying, recognize His power, and trust that He is in control.

The Background: The psalm was written during a time of great trouble and danger for the people of Israel.

The Message: It reminds readers to find inner peace and security in God during difficult or scary moments instead of panicking.
