This past weekend, I attended Cornerstone Church of Ames. A week ago today, there was a shooting at their parking lot which claimed the lives of two women walking into church for Bible study.

Clips from the sermon are a bit long, though it's packed with a cyclone of emotions that the pastor and church are coping with. The media was outside getting their scoops and interviews, but you won't see inside, pleading with a broken world that needs a nail-scarred Savior.

Seven years ago, 52 Churches in 52 Weeks aimed to observe different churches in a wild attempt to study spirituality in several settings, states, and sizes (and yes, I did purposely try to start all those words with "s"). I wrote about it in the past, but after doing it seven years ago, a lot has changed. So, it has me curious. What would happen if we tried 52 Churches in 52 Weeks again?
