The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Fraternal organization consisting of men who believe in the four core principles of our organization - Charity, Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. We congratulate the 2014 winners of our annual college scholarships - Clara Helen Wolfe and Hannah Elizabeth Redstone. Clara was also awarded the Barry Volante Academic Achievement award. Our Parish Picnic was held o
n June 8th and by most accounts was enjoyed by all. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this wonderful event. The member's burgers and bocce outing was held at OLPH on July 9th. A good time was had by all. Our 4th annual Communion breakfast was held at the Hopkins Inn on October 5th following the 10:30 Mass at OLPH. Our featured speaker this year was Katherine Valentine, an award winning Christian author and nationally recognized speaker on religious topics. Our annual Wine Tasting was held at the Washington Club Hall on October 25th this year. A live band entertained the guests while four wine retailers offered many different selections for tasting. The Knights delivered over $2,000 worth of food from Big Y supermarkets to local area food banks on November 22, 2014, just in time for Thanksgiving. Thanks to Knight Dean Aita for spearheading this event and Bruce Butler from Big Y for his generosity and assistance! You can see a few pictures from this event in the Photo Gallery section.
