Rev. Dr. Patrice Gerideau

Rev. Dr. Patrice Gerideau Welcome Beloved Daughters of God. Hi, I’m Rev. Let’s journey together as bold, balanced, and beloved daughters of God!

This sacred space is where God's story meets our story in order to help us heal, grow, and flourish in Christ as bold, balanced, and beloved daughters of God. Dr. Patrice Gerideau—a storyteller, speaker, and spiritual director in the Ignatian tradition, passionate about helping Black women heal, grow, and flourish in Christ. A contemplative at heart, I create spaces for women to release burdens, e

mbrace rest, and reconnect with God’s love. Through Sister Soul Care, I offer contemplative tools like guided prayer, reflections, and soul-care sessions to help you step away from the noise and meet God in the stillness. My work lives at the intersection of God’s story and our story, with a mission to magnify God’s love, grace, and mercy through everything I do. I hold a Doctor of Ministry in Transformational Leadership from Boston University, a Master of Divinity from Wesley Theological Seminary, and additional advanced degrees in creative writing and theology. My love for words and storytelling began in the sixth grade and has grown into a 20+ year career in communications, ministry, and creative writing. Whether through my podcast, writing, or one-on-one spiritual direction, my vision is to nurture women as God’s beloved image-bearers, guiding us all to live in the fullness of His love.

Life can throw hardship at anyone—obedient or not.
God’s presence doesn’t depend on what happens around us; it’s constant.
When life feels heavy, what helps you feel God’s presence? 👇

Hurry is not your calling — presence is.
When hurry falls away, you rediscover the quiet rhythms that connect you to God’s peace.
What can you release to create more space today?

You don’t have to figure it out alone.
God is omniscient—why not ask the One who knows it all?
What question is waiting on God’s answer?

You don’t need to take on God’s job.
God is already at work in what you cannot control, cannot rush, and cannot resolve on your own.
Where do you sense God asking you to let God be God?

You don’t have to search far for God.
God meets you in this breath, this moment, this exact place — not after you fix yourself or figure life out.
Where do you sense God’s nearness right now?

Your breath is a sanctuary that travels with you.
A single conscious breath can pull your spirit back into alignment, grounding you in God’s presence.
Take one deep breath right now and notice what shifts.

Your soul doesn’t need more hustle — it needs room to exhale.
When we settle, we make space for God to gather what has been scattered.
Where in your life is God inviting you to settle?

Breathing is life — it is full of God.
When we allow breathing to hold us, our shoulders drop, our heart finds its rhythm, and our soul remembers God is near.
Try sitting with one full minute of deep breathing today.
