Pilgrimage to Pope John Paul II Shrine
As part of our Faith in Action Spiritual Reflection Program, Fletcher Council will go on pilgrimage to the St John Paul National Shrine in DC on Saturday, February 8th, 2020.
Your family members and friends, including parishioners are also invited. To satisfy the requirement for the program, a minimum of 12 council members are expected to attend. As a result, Council Officers are required to attend. Brother Knights are encouraged to wear the business uniform.
The Holy Father has granted a Plenary Indulgence to Christ’s faithful who make a pilgrimage to the Saint John Paul II National Shrine.
To obtain this indulgence, pilgrims must: Pray before the relic of Saint John Paul II, remembering one’s duty to the Holy Father, and conclude with the Lord’s Prayer, the Creed, the Hail Mary, and the following:
