We are so grateful to be able to host the Table’s own Robert Samuels as he shares about his new book, His Name is George Floyd, which he co-authored with Toluse Olorunnipa. This book provides an important opportunity for us to both honor Floyd’s life and to understand better the systemic oppression that led to his murder. We will gather to listen, share, and seek to understand so that we can act against the very forces that steal life and prevent so many Black folx from being able to breathe. Whether you have read the book or simply want to show up to learn, join us for this important time.
The meeting is this Wednesday from 7-8:30PM @ The Asian Fusion Center on 343 L Street Northwest, Washington, DC
