Kenneth W. Perdue Obituary
Kenneth W. Perdue, 62, of Cable, Ohio, devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and faithful servant of Christ, entered his heavenly home early on Monday, May 4, 2026, welcomed by his Savior whom he loved deeply.

Born to Nelson and Barbara Perdue of Urbana, Ohio, on May 21, 1963. Kenneth grew up surrounded by strong family bonds that shaped the man he became. He carried those values into every part of his life.

For 40 years, Kenneth shared a steadfast and loving marriage with his wife, Beckalyn (Street) Perdue. Together, they raised two children, Matthew Perdue and Megan (Perdue) Green, who carry forward his strength, compassion, and unwavering commitment to family.

Kenneth was a proud grandfather to Emmett, Jielle, Haven, and Selah (who preceded him in death) and he eagerly anticipated the arrival of another grandchild in July 2026. His grandchildren were his joy, and he cherished every moment he spent with them.

He is also survived by his brothers, Keith (Molly) Perdue and Kirt (Terrie) Perdue, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and brotherly friendship.

He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Harold Street, and is survived by his mother-in-law, Linda Street. Kenneth was deeply connected to his extended family and is also survived by his siblings-in-law, Gregg (Mary) Street, Marcy (Joe) Rinehart, Eric (Jennifer) Street, and Carina (Chad) Deal. Through them, Kenneth was blessed with 19 nieces and nephews, each of whom he loved dearly.

A man of deep faith, Kenneth served as a pastor for many years, most recently spending the past 10 years shepherding Somersville Friends Church. He ministered with humility, sincerity, and a genuine heart for people. His steady presence, compassionate spirit, and unwavering commitment to the gospel left a lasting imprint of every congregation he served.

Alongside his ministry, Kenneth worked at One World Logistics for over 20 years, where he was known for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Kenneth is deeply loved by his parents, his wife, his children, his grandchildren, his brothers and his entire extended family. His legacy is one of faith, integrity, and steadfast love – a life lived for Christ and for the people he treasured above all else.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM on Thursday May 7, 2026, in FRESHWATER, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, North Lewisburg, Ohio.

Funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM in the funeral home with Rev. Dr. David VanHoose officiating.
