Waltham residents lined up outside St. Mary Parish on Friday, Oct. 2, holding dogs, cats and even a tarantula named Lloyd, as the parish held its annual blessing of the animals.

The Rev. Michael Nolan blessed each animal as owners brought them forward on the lawn in front of the church. About three dozen people and their pets attended.

Last month, our Regina Cleri residence was filled with song when 57 children participating in the summer program at St. Mary Parish in Waltham came to visit our senior priests and showcased their musical talent!

And that’s a wrap for our Summer Singing & Serving Training! Today we went to Boston and sang for our retired priests at Regina Cleri. To honor our country for its 250th anniversary, the children sang a beautiful patriotic medley they learned in just a few days.

They had a blast and asked if we can have the camp for 2 more weeks. 😂 Well, until next year!
