God Is Not Finished With His Church

Philippians 1:6 reminds us that the God who began His work in us and in His Church is faithful to complete it. Through trials, opposition, change, and uncertainty, God is still building, shaping, strengthening, and preparing His people to fulfill the Great Commission. **God began the work, God is sustaining the work, and God will finish the work.

Giving Thanks for God’s Goodness We Live in the Greatest Nation On God’s Green Earth

Today, as we celebrate the founding of our nation, we pause with grateful hearts. America’s 250 years remind us not only of history, sacrifice, and freedom, but also of the goodness and mercy of God.

As American citizens, we should never take for granted the blessings, liberties, and opportunities we have been given.
Psalm 107:1 declares, “Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.”

This verse calls us to look beyond the celebration and recognize the source of every good and perfect gift. Our gratitude is not rooted in perfect circumstances, perfect leaders, or a perfect nation, but in a perfect God whose love never fails.

Thankfulness keeps our hearts humble. It reminds us that freedom is a gift, life is a blessing, and our hope is found in the Lord. As we enjoy this day, let us also pray for our nation, our families, our communities, and the Church.

May America turn her heart back to God, seek His wisdom, and walk in righteousness. Today, let us give thanks, not only for the land we live in, but for the Lord who has kept us. He is good, and His steadfast love endures forever.

Prayer for our nation Lord, we thank You for Your goodness, mercy, and faithfulness. Thank You for the blessings we have received and for the freedom we enjoy. Help us to remain humble, grateful, and faithful to You.

Bless our nation, turn our hearts toward righteousness, and let Your truth guide us in this generation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
