The breakdown of societal order due to lawlessness is a direct consequence of rejecting God’s moral law, which serves as the foundation for righteous living. Scripture warns about the dangers of living outside of God’s commands, and the resulting behavior is described in various passages as one of rebellion and spiritual decay.

Even the father of faith had moments of doubt. When God renewed His promise, Abraham laughed, not out of mockery, but out of sheer incredulity. How could a hundred-year-old man and a ninety-year-old woman bear a child? From Abraham’s perspective, the promise seemed too late, too impossible.
So Abraham did what many of us do in the meantime: he looked for an alternative. He prayed, “If only Ishmael might live under your blessing!” It was as though he was saying, “Lord, just bless what I already have don’t ask me to believe for more.” Read more…

Even Abraham laughed at God’s promise—yet the Lord fulfilled it through Isaac. Lay down your “Ishmaels,” bring doubts to God, and trust Him for the impossible.

What Does It Mean To Be a Christian, a Disciple of Jesus Christ?
Discipleship goes beyond belief; it involves actively pursuing a personal relationship with Jesus, striving to reflect His character, teachings, and example in every aspect of life. It is a journey of continuous learning, transformation, and obedience to His commandments. In the early church, discipleship demanded wholehearted commitment, as exemplified by Peter's declaration, “We have forsaken everything to follow you” (Mark 10:28). While anyone can begin this journey instantly, true discipleship is a lifelong commitment that requires dedication and growth.

Communicate God's Truth in the Home
God’s design for the family is a steady foundation, even as culture shifts. The home is where God’s truth is first seen and learned—through daily conversations, choices under pressure, and how conflict is handled. Communicating God’s truth at home is more than words; it is cultivating a Christ-centered atmosphere where Scripture is honored, character is shaped, and hearts are directed to the Lord.

In an age marked by spiritual confusion and increasing deception, God’s Word stands as our unshakable foundation. It is the ultimate standard by which we discern truth, discover God’s true character, and understand the path of salvation through Jesus Christ. Through Scripture, we are invited into a personal and growing relationship with the One who first loved us (1 John 4:19).
As we journey together, let us commit to study diligently, seeking to be faithful stewards of God’s truth:
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” — 2 Timothy 2:15
