Timothy & Tabitha Talapia here, from First Christian Church of Vidor, Texas! See you at Fish Tales for Jesus, an indoor/outdoor experience for 1st - 5th graders and their folks on Saturday, June, 3rd from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the church location, 915 N. Tannahill in Vidor, Texas. Come eat hot dogs, dunk the preacher and go inside a really big fish! Be a part of the Bible stories and more! Whew! Can't wait.

First Christian Church of Vidor, Texas hopes you have a good Memorial Day, as we take time Monday to honor and remember the veterans who gave their lives for their country. For those coming with kids grades 1-5 to the Fish Tales for Jesus event, we have extended our color page contest deadline to Tuesday, May 30th at 4 p.m. See the church's page in the photo album, Fish Tales, to download what you need to enter. P.S. All 10 Fun Fish Facts/Fish Food are now in the Fish Tales photo album. Write all 10 down on the pages provided there and bring them with you to the event for a sure prize. Spread the word.

First Christian Church of Vidor is putting on a fun-filled, Biblically-based EVERTHING'S FREE community event for kids grades 1 -5 and their caregivers - Fish Tales for Jesus! (June 3rd, 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. - hotdogs included - at 915 N. Tannahill). Please come! Show your kids our talking fish by clicking on videos (they'll pop right up) and read the poster below (it will be popping up around town and on the air). Have them enter our color page contest (Color Page contest entries need to be turned in by May 26 - see rules). They can use Facebook to win a sure prize (by writing down all 10 of the Fun Fish Facts/Fish Foods - we are posting 2 of each a week). Click on photos, then our Fish Tales Photo Album to get, print and fill out all the forms they'll need and find the FFF/FF answers as we post them. FFF/FF forms (completed) need to come with them to the event, so they can win the prize. You can pick up and turn in registrations and color page contest entries in person here: 915 N. Tannahill (church building) Mon. - Fri., 9 -4 or here: Main St. Laundromat, 480 N. Main. Both are in Vidor, Texas. We are limiting this to a 50-kid registration, so get those in as soon as possible.
