Her original page, Hope For The Broken Hearted, founded in 2010, with over 1.3 million followers, was hijacked, posts deleted & someone is using her page name & posting content there. My name is Debbie Kay, and I am a Christian author whose calling is to comfort people who are hurting. I know what it is like to be overwhelmed with sadness and grief and to have a heart so broken and battered, you d
on't know how you can possibly survive the pain. I also have experienced the wonder of having my pain and grief turned to joy, by a loving and caring Savior. As the mother of a son with special needs and as someone with multiple auto-immune disorders, I have learned how to research to find resources and answers to help cope with illness and disabilities . In addition to being an author, I am certified in Grief Recovery and trained as a Life Coach with specialties in Stress Management, Health and Wellness Coaching, Hope Coaching, Marriage Mentoring, and Divorce Recovery. Here is my mission statement: We all, with the utmost certainty, will encounter adversity in this life. It is through the storms of life that our faith is tested, our fortitude challenged, and genuine trust in God realized. It's in the dark days that we learn that the Bible is more than just a collection of stories written by ancient people. We find out the truth about our Lord's character, the wisdom behind His words and the depths of His unfathomable love for us. It is when we are overwhelmed with despair that we gain firsthand knowledge of the verse, "when I am weak, He is strong." (2 Cor 12:10) We have a loving, Abba Father, a "Spiritual Daddy," who understands our pain, who grieves with His children through our sadness, and encourages us to soldier on... not by ourselves, but with His divine help. We find our hope in the One who always has a plan, whether we can see it or not. His plan is always for our good (Jeremiah. 29:11). My heart's desire is to encourage others to press on even when they can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I want to share what I've learned from personal experience — that life does go on, even after deep, life-altering losses. God hears our cries, He knows our pain, and He challenges us to trust when it makes no earthly sense to. The Lord redeems, renews, and carries us when our strength fails us. I want the brokenhearted to know that God can and will turn our mourning to joy, IF we let Him work in us. He longs for us to come to Him with the shattered, broken pieces of our hearts. He wants to make us whole again, and to restore us to the fullness of His joy. Your life course may be altered due to circumstances beyond your control, but that doesn't mean the new path won't still end at a glorious destination. As a follower of Jesus, we can rest assured, as it says in Romans 8:28, that all things work together for our good to those who love Him.
